The Caister-on-Sea Lifeboat experience in the village has free admission to displays and activities and is a family favourite for a great day out.

There are plenty of attractive villages and small market towns all within a short distance to Great Yarmouth, set in beautiful countryside in either Norfolk or Suffolk and with many offering sightseeing attractions, a value for money family day out is never far away. Thrigby Wildlife Gardens in Filby is open all year round where you can see amazing wildlife and gain knowledge of the conservation work undertaken there whilst strolling around the attractive gardens.

Great Yarmouth’s Golden Mile provides hours of family fun alongside glorious safe sandy beaches. You will find a wide choice of family friendly entertainment options along the seafront, including variety shows and live events at The Empire, amusement arcades, cinema, exciting nightlife, crazy golf, bowling alley and the ever popular Hippodrome circus which offers outstanding family entertainment.
