Take a boat trip out to Holkham Beach or the bird and seal sanctuary at Blakeney Point. Away from the coast there are plenty of market towns such as North Walsham with its busy streets and close proximity to the Norfolk Broads or Holt featuring Georgian buildings and locally run businesses and boutiques, specialist food stores, art galleries and antique shops. Nearby at Aylsham the family can experience the Bure Valley narrow gauge railway set in beautiful countryside and connecting the town to Wroxham at the heart of the Norfolk Broads.
